Singer-songwriter Melanie Spector, a native of Highland Park,
has been performing for a number of years, with the folk, bluegrass and country band Dusty Rose in Kansas,
and now in Illinois and Wisconsin. Melanie's current focus is on contemporary folk and country from the 60's
to the present, especially the poetic ballads of Kate Wolf. Her CD entitled Finally!
